River So Deep

I walked down by that river

To find myself some peace

But the way things been going down lately

I just can’t get no release

To watch the current flow

And ask that age old question

Where does all that water go?

Upon my savior to lean

But with that muddy water rising

I was praying for my salvation

Lost in those cool, cool waters so deep
